I have just recently purchased a remote cabin about 100 miles north of
my home in Winnipeg... Because I've held a private liscence since
1979, I feel its time to purchase a small plane with floats so I can fly
in without the hassle of a damn charter every time....

My question is this.... Which craft would be recommended... I need a
good performer.(one other passenger and 150-200lbs of gear).... I need
one that accepts floats easily .....I would like to keep the total cost
below 40K..... What horsepower is needed for this type of flying and
would the craft need wing/airframe mods?.....

Thanks for any and all advice in advance.......I've been away from the
industry for anumber of years and just don't know which way to go......
